I corrected the score of the Week 11 Miami and Las Vegas game this morning.

The site had them both as winners, but LV should have been showing as a loss.

It did not affect any of the outcomes, but if you had LV those points went away from your total score.

Lo and behold.............

Even a blind squirrel finds a nut once in awhile.(RIP Peanut) I thought I had it last week but it wasn't to be. If Deetroit could have just used one of those 52 points from this week's game in last week's game, it might been two in a row? But you can't be too greedy or TheWFP Gods will get you. Taking 1st place this week with the best score of 49 is Yours Truly! This is my first 1st place since the Wild Card Week of 2016. It's been a looooooong time since I've gotten to call my own number. And I moved up about 15 spots in the overall. Another reason to sleep better these days. Taking 2nd with 46 points was our 2023 Champion, Joy. Been a quiet year for her so far. Maybe this is the start of another run to the title? In 3rd is Kris just one point behind with 45. This is her second dip in the ca$hiSh this year after tying for first in Week 9. 4th place is a three way tie between Carson, Eric B and Steve F, all with 43. Honorable mention goes to Randy with a Y.

In the race for the overall points total, Rudy stays in 1st for another week. Pam T stays all alone in 2nd. Big T moves up one slot into 3rd. Jim K and Chris C retain their spots in 4th and 5th.

OK, the Commissioner will be on the Road to Perdition aka Fresno for the next two days, and I'll do my best to get the spreads set and pick sheet out early Wednesday.

The following week is Thanksgiving so here's the advance notice, we will be doing a TURKEY DAY BOWL POOL. Similar to the BcS and Big Game Pools, you guess the straight up winner of all three games on Thanksgiving Day, and the total points scored in all three games combined. Winner takes all or splits if the points are a tie. Entry fee is $20. You can PayPal, Venmo or carrier pigeon it to me. If you have any winnings coming, I can deduct it from what you are owed. If you want in, you know the drill, send me an email and say I'm IN!

Well................. the commish thought he had it in the bag for his first win of the season after the day games. All he needed was the best team in the NFL to beat the Texans by 3½ points in the Sunday night game and it was a lock. Easy deal right? But noooooo, that pesky ½ point got in the way and just like that, he was out of it.

So taking 1st place this week with a very good score of 48 was Rick. That's his third dip in the ca$hi$h so far this year, same as last, and he took 3rd in the overall so he's got a nice two year run going. 2nd place went to Jeremy with 46 landing him in the honey for the first time in 2024. Mike L took 3rd with 41, his second placement in four weeks. 4th went to Dr. Kevin T with 40 and Doodles took 5th with 37. Honorable mention went to yours truly just a point out at 36. CONGRATS TO ALL THE WINNERS!

In the overall points race and chance to be crowned Champion of TWFP 2024, Rudy stays in 1st place for another week. 2nd place is a tie between Mike H who moves up one spot from 3rd and Pam T who moves back into the lead group after dropping out for a week. 4th place is also a tie between Big T who drops one place and Jim K who moves up one. Just off the pace is Chris C.

Nothing special going on with the schedule this week, but there's still lots of games to be played and lots of caShiSh to be gotten. You just gotta Pick Em Good!.
