Alrighty then, Week 1 is in the books. Not a lot of fanfare or noise this year, unless you are a Saints fan and got totally screwed again by the two blantant bad calls by Saints hater Roger Goddell's goons. Oddly, they were against the same QB they were up against the last time they were totally F'd in the 2019 Conference Championship game against the Lambs. He must have a thing for Goff?

At any rate, Taking 1st place this week with the best score of 40 is my buddy Matt D. This is his first, 1st place ever in TWFP and his first time doing better than 5th.lol Finally got that monkey off his back.

Taking 2nd and just a point behind him is long, long time player Anna with 39. If memory serves me, she usually waits until the last few weeks of the season to cash in. She took 1st place in the WCP week last year, so this might be the best start for her and a sign of things to come. In 3rd place is our 2020 Champ Mike M just a point behind as well with 38. In 4th we have a tie between Brian F and USC fan Eddie, both with 36. Honorable mention goes to Chris M and Jeff T.

It's that time of the year. Only 34 days till kickoff of the first game. The Champions Trophy is ready to go.

Steven has been hard at work. The website will have a new look, and is going through the final details. It will be easier to make and manage picks. And we will finally be able to enter the tie breakers for the playoff weeks when making your picks. WooHoo!

This year it will be interesting to see what the Raidas will do with Fernando Mendoza, what Sam Darnold will do with the Seahawks after winning the Big Game, and with Drew Brees officially unavailable, to see if Tyler Shough can start a new dynasty in New Awlins' with the Saints. This and much more drama headed our way from Dallas as always.
