Alright everybody, the commish has been a little under the weather this week so I'm a little behind getting this out.

In the final week of the season we had TWENTY TWO people pick both games correctly scoring 19 points. Last year it was only twelve WHOA! The total points scored in Week 21 were 139, 47 points more than last year. WHOA! So I guess it's not going to be defense that wins the championship for the NFL's sweethearts this year.

To end the season, I had a huge mis-communication that involved tie breakers and emails, so I am awarding 1st place to two people for Week 21. Taking 1st place in the Conference week with the closest tie breakers are Brian F and Jake FSF. That's Brian's second time in the honey pot this season and Jake's fourth. In an amazing stroke of luck, 2nd place went to Your's Truly! 3rd place was a tie between Chris C and Romy, both with a T/B of 103. And 5th went to first year player Maxx with 102 who did pretty good all season. Honorable mention goes to the longest list I think I've ever typed, Chris M, Dylan, Eric B, Gary C, Jeremy, Jim K, Kevin T, Mike H, Pam T, Ramiro, Roger, Sam K, Terence V, Theresa and Victor. CONGRATS TO THE WINNERS!

Drum roll please.............................................And with no further adieu, after an amazing year in his twelth season, winning the biggest pot of caShiSh yet and taking home the coveted 2024 Champions Trophy, all hail the Champion of THE Weekly Football Pool 2024, RUDY, RUDY, RUDY! He too like last years Champ had a great run in 1st place for 11 of the 21 weeks.

Our runner up this year put up a good fight in the final weeks five or six weeks. Timmy from Fabulous Las Vegas made a run at it and almost took it at the wire. It came down to the last day of the season, but he came up one game short.

3rd place went to first year player Pam T, sister in law of last years Champ, Joy. She had a good first year holding the top spot for a few weeks. In 4th place is another first year intrant, the afore mentioned Maxx did pretty good in his first year too. Taking 5th place was our 2016 Champions, the husband and wife team of Christina & Todd. This was their comeback year. And the boobie prize for ending up in last place goes to the 2022 Champion, Steve F. Definitely an off year for him. But he gets $20 for his effort.

CONGRATS AGAIN TO ALL THE 2024 WINNERS!!!!!!!

I hope everyone had a fun time. I wish we could all take home some ca$hi$h, but like they say, you can't win em all. The secret is, you gotta Pick Em Good, and Rudy did that this year. Better luck to everyone in 2025.

Alright then,

In Week 20 we only had two people pick all four games correct with a score of 34. Total points of all four games was 215 and by virtue of closest tie breaker of 221, Timmy From Fabulous Las Vegas took 1st place. My other brother Larry A was 2nd with a T/B of 196. 3rd place went to DDS Jeremy with 27/207. 4th was our webmaster Steven with 27/182. And 5th was a tie between Anna from Waterbury and Terence V both with the same score of 25 and a T/B of 190. Honorable mention went to John with 25/175.

And so it comes down to the final week to determine who wins it all. In the overall race to be crowned Champion of TWFP 2024, win a load of ca$hi$h and most importantly get the coveted CHAMPS trophy, Rudy retained his lead in 1st place. Timmy FFLV remained in 2nd but tightened up the race. Christina & Todd kept their position in 3rd as well as Pam T who stayed in 4th. And Anna moved back into the top group in 5th. Just off the pace is Randi with an "I".

We know who will be first or second. But third thru fifth is still up for grabs. With only 19 points to score, it could be anyone with 629 or better. Be sure to sharpen those pencils and Pick Em Good!

The pick sheet won't be out until Friday morning to give us the most accurate spreads.

Alrighty then,

We only had one person get all six games correct this week. Taking 1st place with a perfect score of 45 is Joe. That's his second time taking first this year so, Way To Go Joe! 2nd place is a tie between Eric B and Jeremy, both with 40 and the same default tie breaker of 271. 4th place went to Pam T all alone with 38. And 5th place goes to Ramiro by way of his closer tie breaker over Rudy who gets honorable mention. CONGRATS TO THE WINNERS!

In the overall points race to be crowned Champion of TWFP 2024, Rudy remains in 1st place and extends his lead slightly. Timmy FFLV moves up two into second. Christina & Todd move up two spots into third. Pam T rejoins the lead group in 4th and Big T drops three to 5th. Just off the pace is Maxx.

Okay next week is the Divisional Playoffs and we only have four games, two on Saturday and two on Sunday. I will set the spreads and send out the pick sheet early on Thursday to give everyone enough time to make picks and send me your tie breaker by kickoff on Saturday.

I hope everyone is safe and no one was directly effected by these outrageous fires in Los Angeles proper. A very, very sad situation to say the least.
