Alrighty then Ladies and Germs,

Week two of the 2022 season is on the books and it's DeJa Vu sort of.

The same two guys who were 1st and 2nd in the final week of the 2021 season have done it again. Taking 1st place this week with a very good score of 48, and picking up right where he left off last year is the pride of The Woodlands, Jose C. And right there with him again, taking 2nd place just a point behind with 47 is the pride of Orange, Dr Kevin T. In the words of the late Huell Howser, "Why That's Amazin".

In 3rd place just a couple of points behind is Jake FSF with 45, his second week in a row in third. And that makes two weeks in a row he's landed in the ca$hi$h. 4th place went to Rick just a couple behind with 43 and 5th went to Jeremy with 41. Honorable mention goes to Cris and Sam K. CONGRATS TO THE WINNERS!

In the overall points total it's DeJa Vu again as Jake FSF takes the early lead, just like last year. In 2nd and 3rd is the fore mention Dr. Kevin T and Rick. And 4th is a tie between Adriana with one N and Jeremy. Just off the pace is last year's Champ Jared M and Steve F.

I'm not really pushing, but if you have someone who wants to get in TWFP, they can join up until week 4. After that the field will be closed.

And hats off to everyone for getting your picks done on time too.

Alrighty then folks,

The commish is back from a two week road trip to Texas visiting family and making new friends. I was out of pocket most of the time, so it was difficult to keep up with the scoring on Sunday not seeing any games in real time. Sorry if some of you got your hopes up(Jake FSF), but someone should have told me the Jags and the Redskins were both showing as winners of that game. I didn't catch it until Tuesday.

That being said, we have a double tie to start the 2022 season with Craig J and Jay J taking 1st place with 40 points. Tying for 3rd is Adriana with one N, and the fore mentioned Jake from State Farm just one point behind with 39. And in 5th also just a point off is Steve F with 38. Honorable mention goes to Anna, Chon and Doodles all with 37. CONGRATS TO THE WINNERS!

I'm a little behind on Pool business so I will mention all of our new players again if not for the first time. Let's all give a warm TWFP welcome to David R, Emily, Ivan, Mike D, Octavio, Ruben, Ryan N, Sean and Victor. Thank you all for your donation!

A few people didn't get picks in for the Week 1 games, and the commish wasn't able to help. So according to the rules, they will get the weeks average of 23 points as a score for Week 1. In the long run, it ain't going to win them anything, but it gives them hope going into Week 2.

Alrighty then, now that the 904 days to flatten the curve have passed, ahem, ............................... it's time for TWFP 2022!

THE season starts one week from Thursday, September 8th with the Williams of Buffalo @ the Helmet Swingers of Inglewood. They were going to have a parade across the new $14 Million 4th Street bridge that crosses the L.A. creek, but they couldn't get the street racers to commit to not taking it over that night. Escape from L.A. is coming to fruition.

None the less, the website is ready to go. The Week 1 games are listed, but there's no spreads yet. I will set them on next Tuesday morning. Who knows what might change between now and then with the schedule, so it's probably best to wait.

To the people who haven't answered me, If you want to stay in the pool, send me an email saying I'M IN. If you are undecided and change your mind, you can still join up until Week 4. See the rules for details. I will take your name off the email list once the season starts.

If you know a previous player that wants to get back in, tell them to send me an email saying I'M IN.

If you have any new people that want to get in, forward this email to them and tell them to send an email to [email protected] saying who they are and that they want IN!
