Week 7 results

Another newcomer to TWFP has taken the top spot, that's two weeks in a row.........

Going 9 for 10 and taking 1st place this week with 52 points was one of the guys from our fantasy baseball league, Kevin Q! This is his first year in the pool and like everybody else who wins a week, he will probably be back for more next year. This should send a message to the other SCBL owners that they are missing out on the fun, and CASHISH!:-$

In 2nd place with 50 points was Adrianna, who had a chance at first, but was done in by the Giants desire to save their jobs. 3rd place went to yours truly with 48 points, my best score in a couple of years. 4th was a tie with 45 between Cris E and one of the other Larry's, A. Honorable mention goes to Jake T. CONGRATS TO THE WINNERS!

In the race for the overall, Jake FSF stays in the lead for another week by 13 points, followed by Carson who moves up to second. Jeremy joins the top group tying with Steve F in a tie for third, and Todd moves up into contention in 5th.

This Sunday has another one of those early morning games, from a soccer stadium somewhere overseas, with a predicted blow out by the Eagles over the Jaguars. So be sure to get your pick in on time for that one as the game locks before breakfast at 6:30am pst.

How bout dem Saints!

Pick sheet will follow,

Good luck this week,

Larry E.

Week 5 and 6 recaps

The commish had a very busy week so here's our first ever, two week recap(I think)

Our Week 5 winner was Steve F with 42 points. No stranger to the win column, taking home a nice haul every year he's been in the pool. In 2nd place was second year player Jose C with 38, who also had a good rookie year with two firsts and a second place. In 3rd was Eddie C at 37, his second week in a row taking third place. And tying for 4th with 36 was our webmaster Steven, and my brother, Uncle Leo. Honorable mention went to Adriana, Jake FSF and Nate with 34.

Sooooooo we almost had our first perfect score of 2018. Rookie Jozlyn made her mark in Week 6, displaying her chick power and going nine for ten and taking 1st place with a near perfect 54 points! WOW! She had the week locked up no matter who won on Monday night. Again, WOW!

Taking 2nd place was Matt with 46 points. He's another second year player who did well as a rookie and he's cashed twice this year already with a tie for first in week one and second this week. 3rd place went to Timmy from Las Vegas with 45, his first time in the honey this year. And last years overall champion Sam K got in on the action finally, tying with returning veteran Tony for 4th with 44. Honorable mention goes to Gary, just one point off the pace at 43.

CONGRATS TO ALL THE WINNERS!

In the overall total, Jake from State Farm holds on to his lead by 21 points. Antonio moves up two spots into 2nd. Carson holds on to 3rd, and Nate and Steve F both move up into the top group respectively tied for 4th.

Saints and Lions are back after the bye week. The NFL should just do them all the weekend of the World Series, IMO.

The pick sheet will be out in a separate email.

Week 4 results.......

Our week four winner was second year player Rick with lots of points, 51 to be exact. This is his first, 1st place in TWFP and our second winner in the 50's this year. Not too far behind is our 2015 Champ, Jake from State Farm with 47, his first dip in the honey this year. In 3rd for the second time, and just one point back at 46 was Joy. A couple of points behind with 44 was Bay area resident Antonio, and tying for the consolation beer money with 43 was Allan and Dale. Honorable mention goes to Mother and Son, Randi and Nate who would have finished 1st and 3rd if KC had covered. CONGRATS TO THE WINNERS!:-$

Moving up from 4th and taking the lead in the overall points total by way of his 2nd place is JakeFSF. Is he making a run at a second WFP title? And with his 1st place, Rick jumps into the top group in 2nd. Carson(husband of Randi) with his consistent good scores remains in 3rd, followed in 4th by another guy with good scores Antonio, and Joy moves into the top group in 5th.

Okay we are set with 62 players for 2018. The weekly payouts will remain $120, $90, $60, $25 and $15. And the overall will be $500, $350, $240, $100 and $50.

All checks will be deposited this week and winners paid through week four.

Five people are off to a good start so far taking the Pats for 10 points tonight, one of them finally showing some juevos and picking his team!:-P

You are all doing a great job getting your picks in on time this year. THANKS!

And, Good luck to everyone this week, especially those who pick the Saints on Monday night.
